What is the BLESS Program?

BLESS stands for Basic Literacy Education Saving Souls, a Christian outreach initiative by Accelerated Christian Education Ministries (ACEM) that serves underprivileged children in various parts of the world, including the Philippines and India.
Over a 12–15-week period, children work through specially designed PACEs—self-paced learning modules from the ACE curriculum—that guide them through basic literacy and math lessons, culminating in reading the Gospel of Mark.
The program teaches foundational educational skills while introducing children to Jesus Christ through scripture-based content woven into the lessons.

Why It Matters

Many participants come from backgrounds where they may not know their own name or age and have had no prior exposure to Jesus or formal schooling.
Through sponsorship and involvement, volunteers help unlock literacy and spiritual understanding, effectively “saving souls” by addressing both educational and spiritual needs.
A complete BLESS Center can be set up for around $200, serving up to 10 children every 12–15 weeks. Sponsors of entire centers are honored with certificates during the International Student Convention (ISC).
